+This event organized by DELP Film and Culture Club will begin with a short talk about the British tradition of telling ghost stories for Christmas and will focus on one story in particular, Charles Dickens’ The Signalman. The fascinating real-life background to this brilliant spinechiller will be explained and the BBC short film of the story will be introduced before we watch it together. There will be an opportunity for discussion afterwards.
