| Courses at SEAS in autumn 2020 and spring 2021 fall into several categories. By default, seminar courses offered to first-year BA students are on-campus courses (ONC), while most other courses (lectures and those offered to higher-year BA students and MA students) are remote courses. Lectures are typically asynchronous remote courses (ASY); seminars are typically synchronous remote courses (SYN).
