Frank Tibor (1948–2022)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Prof. Tibor Frank (1948–2022), member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, former Director of the School of English and American Studies and founding member and professor emeritus of the Department of American Studies. An outstanding scholar of British and American history, Professor Frank will be sorely missed by the School and the scholarly community of English and American Studies in Hungary and beyond. May he rest in peace!
