Debate. This course covers the principles of argumentation and debate, including the difference between opinions and arguments, discerning what makes a strong argument, claims, evidence, warrants, and effective research. This course emphasizes creating the strongest arguments for a variety of viewpoints, while personal biases and assumptions are interrogated.
