This online course will provide students with an opportunity to develop the writing skills that they need for their academic development and prepare them for writing their thesis. Through the development of their academic writing skills, students will also develop important reading and planning skills which will prove important for their academic and professional life.

requirements & assessment
Requirements:

1. Attend class; 3 unexcused absences allowed
2. Assignments delivered more than a week late will have points deducted
3. Keep up-to-date on the course's Moodle page
4. Make sure to use APA/MLA formatting for writing assignment (writer's choice)

Assessments: The final grade is based on the average score of the student's assignments throughout the semester and detailed assessment will be provided for the completed tasks.

Materials: There are no mandatory texts that need to be purchased for the course. All materials will be posted on the Moodle page.
