This course will provide students with an opportunity to develop the writing skills that they need for their academic development and prepare them for writing their thesis. Through the development of their academic writing skills, students will also develop important reading and planning skills which will prove important for their academic and professional life.

Requirements:
  1. Attend class; only 3 unexcused absences will be accepted
  2. Keep up-to-date on the course's Moodle page and turn in assignments on time
  3. Make sure to use APA/MLA formatting for writing assignment (writer's choice)

Assessments: The final grade is based on the average score of the student's assignments completed throughout the semester.

Materials: There are no mandatory texts that need to be purchased for the course. All materials will be posted on the Moodle page.
