The main aim of this course is to help students develop the skills they need to give presentations in front of a group, something which is particularly important for those in the teaching profession. The course will provide students with practical information about different presentation situations which can occur in the classroom, and students will be given the opportunity to practice and develop their own presentation skills through individual and group exercises related to these contexts. The course will feature both written and oral assessment.

requirements & assessment

1. Attendance: Students must attend the online and offline classes on a weekly basis. The student is allowed a maximum of 3 unexcused absences (university policy).
2. Keep up to date with the Moodle page throughout the semester, as materials/activities for class will be posted there.
3. Complete in-class and homework assignments; work turned in late will have points deducted.
