It will be shown that a radically different view of the nature of pronouns enabled in this framework avoids the uncomfortable problems which face Standard Binding Theory (SBT). In forming this theory, I will heavily rely on the already radically different views (from the perspective of SBT at least) of Reinhart and Reuland (1993) and Pesetsky (forthcoming). \\ ''PDF:'' [[this>_media/98ne.pdf|   full text]] \\ ''refs:'' ++ ⟨BibTeX⟩ | \\ ''@article{even98ne, \\   author  = {Mark Newson}, \\   title   = {Pronominalisation, reflexivity and the partial pronunciation of traces: {B}inding goes {OT}}, \\   year    = 1998, \\   journal = {The Even Yearbook}, \\   volume  = 3, \\   pages   = {173--222}, \\   url     = {http://seas.elte.hu/w/!even/98ne} \\ }''\\ ++ ++ ⟨RIS⟩ | \\ ''TY  - JOUR \\ AU  - Newson,Mark \\ PY  - 1998/// \\ TI  - Pronominalisation, reflexivity and the partial pronunciation of traces: Binding goes OT \\ T2  - The Even Yearbook \\ VL  - 3 \\ SP  - 173 \\ EP  - 222 \\ UR  - http://seas.elte.hu/w/!even/98ne \\ ER  -''\\ ++ ++ ⟨txt⟩ | \\ '' Newson, Mark. 1998.
